PSW problem

I have read about it happening before, but I love the sound of polk and trust the name so I went ahead and got 2 PSW303 subs for my HT. The driver on one rattles, even on low volume and there is a constant crackle when signal is output to it. I have heard about this problem with polk before. I am replaceing the driver in the sub, but hope this will not be a problem with the new one or happen to my 2nd one. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Calibration is the key to not destroying subwoofers!! Look at the calibration threads.
