I'm a big fan of seeing the DVD accompaniment to a good mix cd. Paul van Dyk has an EXCELLENT one out with his dual disc set (cd and dvd) called Global.

Yeah that Oakie DVD is pretty good. I was not really impressed with the surround effects. It seemed almost as if it was just in a 5 channel stereo kinda setup. But the music is awesome. The visuals got annoying after about 10 minutes to me, but I also don't do drugs. hahaha

I'll definitely look into that Van Dyk disk. I'm a huge fan of PvD.

Also, I read a few months back that DTS was coming out with a multichannel dvd and they had 4-5 Producers/DJs using their favorite songs and making them 5.1. Only problem is, I emailed them a few months back and DTS replied saying it was only available to DJ's and record labels at that time. I can't wait to hear it though... looked pretty good. Just found the link for ya...

The graphics can be a deterrant at times, but it's better (to me) to have a visual on the screen. Raves were always fun.......I don't do drugs either, but it's fun to just sit and watch at times.

That PvD didnt' have a lot of the digital screen saver type of stuff, but instead showed a lot of concert footage.........seeing a crowd of people goin to the music makes me SOOOO wanna be there.....it's some older (by now) stuff of his, but still a great setup IMO.

I've had that Moby Play dvd for a while now.....Good stuff......

I got the PvD cd/dvd at Virgin Megastores here in Phoenix. It was one of those deals that it's a CD, with a bonus DVD disc. I just called them and asked if they still had it and they have 9 here in Phoenix. Let me know if you're not able to find it and want me to grab it for you. It's $19.99 atm......
