Wow, I don't know what to say. I can't say I was familiar with anything other than Superman stuff, but Dangerfield was the 1st to go, and now Reeve. This is kind of odd.

    That's shocking turn, (this isn't about politics) considering that Kerry had just mentioned Reeve as a friend of his and was making his case about Stem Cell Research.....

    That's a VERY sad thing considering the progress that he was seemingly making over the past few years.......

    Nikki Finke in Los Angeles is reporting that actor Christopher Reeve is dead, according to sources close to the actor. He died suddenly Sunday. News of his death has not been reported publicly yet. His family will make an announcement Monday at the earliest. Reeve was just mentioned Friday in the second live presidential debate by John Kerry. Noting he was a friend of the paralysed Reeve, Kerry said he was in favor of further stem cell research because Reeve could walk again one day thanks to such science.... MORE...

    Wow... anyone here who subscribes to Reader's Digest is probably even moreso shocked. He just was the subject of a front cover article (complete interview and all), and it seemed like he was doing really well.

    Very sad. The world has lost a great actor and person.

    Even though he was best remembered as Superman, his best roll for me was that of Richard Collier in Somewhere in Time. Infact, it was that movie where I found my daughter's first name, Elise.

    I'm glad y'all posted this...I saw something about Reeves on Inside Edition (I think that's what it was anyways) and I was wondering if he had passed away. They were mainly focusing on the stem cell research and what side he had taken in the whole election or whatever. ANYWAYS, moving along...it's horrible...two great actors in one week....or two weeks....iono. They did a spot on Saturday Night Live for Dangerfield. I think their passing deserves a...
