I played paintball for the first time today! Wow was that fun! Although my goggles were fogged up more than not, it was a good time.

I detect a new expensive hobbie to go along with my audio fix!

Any one else play? I took one in the mouth where some paint went through my mask and into my mouth, you guess it, it tastes really bad! Oh and one time I was hit from about 20 feet away right in the neck! That one was the worst.

Well just thought I'd share.

Howie

Ok.....somethings wrong with you if you have your mouth open when you have balls flyin at you.......or......well......ya know... ;)

The other help that I can give you is........MOVE YOUR A$$......

The reason your goggles were fogged up was because you were in pu$$y mode......c'mon.....ATTACK and you won't suffer.....

EDIT: (in case y'all couldn't tell.......this is Brett)

Hey now, I never stood in one spot very long! And it was the moving that caused me to breath so much that they fogged up, not sitting in one spot. And I have the welts to prove it! LOL. And I wouldn't have had my mouth open if I wasn't breathing so hard (yeah, so I'm a good 30-40lbs over weight, but that had nothing to do with it,umm yeah!) It was a lot of fun, even though I was usually in the first 3 to get hit (I lasted 3 seconds in one game, bad staring position and a really good player on the opposite team). Some of the people would just camp and that is no fun in my opinion (or shoot around corners without looking so you can't really hit them (at least not with rentals). Its much more fun to go after people, but it is really hard to tell who is on your team sometimes.

Good fun though, but those googles did suck, everyone with the rentals had problems with them fogging up. We played at a converted house, and not being able to see is a problem when you were on the inside, but outside it wasn't too bad (just a front yard on the outside). I won't buy gun until I have played a lot more, but goggles, gloves and a neck guard will be mine before my next match, which is hopefully soon as I have a lot of ammo left that shouldn't be sitting around!

I've been going paintballing since I was in High School, but I've never taken it to the level that some people do. Some people get really into it, and hell...I don't blame them! It's sooooo much fun.

I have a paintball gun myself and all the equipment, but I don't get to go as often as I like.

Glad you had a good time, it's really a blast. We have about 4 places to go around here including 2 really cool indoor setups.

Prior to playing, clean off the inside of your goggles with shaving cream, it will help keep the fog off. They also sell goggles with mini-fan attachments.

Last time I played, I took one one in the forehead at close range. I had this huge nasty lump on my face for a week or so. That pretty much sucked. Fun game though.
