For me, this is definitely when Netflix becomes very nice. I like to buy DVD's, but some of those I just want to see once or twice. I will buy the ROTK EE to finish out the collection.

This is a list of must-buys there are a few which I will rent but there not on that list.

As for Home Improvement, does "Tool Time" or "Tim the tool man Taylor" ring any bells?

I'll buy Day After Tomorrow, I love these kinds of films, just like Armageddon, Deep Impact, The Core...etc. All I want is big special effects and a good sound track and DAT meets those requirements.

Ah, Ron-P, a fellow fan of the natural disaster genre.

I also can't wait to see DAT.

Don't get me wrong, I love movies like that as well

The fact is, the movie sucked...plain and simple

It is like 30-45 minutes of disaster...

the rest is dudes traveling and a love story and being stuck in a building....

    Eh...its just...not...good

The best part is what happens near the end, yall love that part...hilarious...hahaha

Just like the others films I listed above. The first half of the films all start out just like you mentioned. I also enjoy the "discovery/ exploration" part as much as I do the actual disaster sequences. It'd be a bit over the top if the movie was 2 hours of nothing but action/disaster.

Yes this will be an expensive 3 months, what with the Eric Clapton SACDs, the Elton John SACDs and the Beatles boxset.

Thanks, Ron for the compilation - these updated are on my list..

Tim Taylor was a big favorite sitcom for me, with the exception of the neighbor (can't remember his name) who always hide half of his face behind the fences...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Well I still haven't seen #2 so I'll have to rent or borrow it first.

11-9 will be a box set killer for me with:

Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol II
    That 70's Show Season 1
Elton John, Dream Ticket (a 4 DVD Best Buy exclusive, similar to the Rolling Stones set from a few years back).
Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support
group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.
