It's always fun to see how diluted people are with regard to their stuff.....
That guy is out of his mind to have a starting bid like that.
okie, there's no one here on this forum that can give you numbers like that. I'd call Polk and see if they'll letcha know......comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -

Tell me 'bout it... Eff that! -
$10k for the system new? I was almost positive $10k was for the entire system with 2 fronts, 2 sats, and the center.Brian Knauss

BK, though not pictured, down in the description they do indicate that the SRT system is a 7 enclosure system. I'd email to ask the specifics, but more importantly to tell them to lay off the crack pipe since they're obviously trying to fund their anual salaries......comment comment comment comment. bitchy.

SRT Stereo Pair - MSRP: 7,500
SRT System - MSRP: 10,000- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Nice to see he's still got the boxes ... but they aren't worth $2800+
-
I wouldn't let mine go for $2800.
-
Actually the starting bid seems to be $6800.

Do tell then
For a mint pair (fronts)?
For a not so mint pair (fronts)? -
I don't think I've seen any sell for less than ~$3k ... ~$4k is more typical ... Almost $7k won't attract any attention.
-
I paid $6k for mine in 2000 they were the store demo stereo pair , center, control center, and remote. All the boxes which I still have included. At that time it was a decent price. I have considered selling them but anything comparable is waaaay more money. I never cared much for the rears and even the Polk dealer was using M&K rears. I think $4k is a good price for a good set and $2800 would be in there for a more heavily used set. It seems like alot but find something comparable in that price range. Just my opinion:)

Which rears are you referring to ? the bi/dipole fx's ? or the SRT SDA Surrounds ?

That's a great price ... I paid a little more for mine but they did come with two control centers, the 6 drivers each SRT SDA Surrounds, customized subs and a Cinepro amp.
