I'm LOVING Smile by Brian Wilson. It's HDCD and is a fantastic
recording. Brilliant songwriting, singing, musicianship and
sounds incredible on Polks! Check it out.

Yep, it's great. Best Buy has a good deal on it right now. Check it out. I am SOOOO glad Brian finished this truely brilliant masterpiece. I HIGHLY recommend this. I found it hard to imagine that his voice is still this good. So far, I'm blown away.

If you get a chance to see him perform this GOOOOOOO! It's a great date and worth the money. He's a legend folks. Don't pass it up.

The obvious unfortunate thing to point out about all this is that Brian's voice has changed. He honestly had one of the best voices in music. It's still quite phenomonal that he was able to re-record this with such an amazing voice at his age, but damn....have you heard the old SMiLE recordings? Brilliant.

The Beach Boys were truly one hell of an amazing band and it's so unfortunate that Brian Wilson went off the deep end with his drug use. I can only imagine the things we could have heard from him had he been able to stay on the straight and narrow.

Also....There were a ton of rumors that he was going to use his original bass tracks. Too bad that didn't become a reality.
