this was probably,no had to of been mention before, so my apologies to everyone if i rehash hard feelings about this subject  is it just me or do they go just a little overboard with the security on a new dvd.i meen you got your wrapper,ok no problem with that! but to put a seal on three sides(which sometimes is stuck to the sleeve and tears it when you try to remove it:eek: )and the little security strip inside, are they made of gold.are they shipped from the factory like this?i don't know if in the U.S.(capital letters don't want to piss of my neighbors)but i think fs,bb etc. repackage them themself witch would explain why a new dvd movie would have grubby fingerprints all over it.anyways thanks for letting me ****:D be excellent to each other;)

I agree with you, but you can thank theives for that.

My old roommate in college used to buy hard drives from big name electronic stores and then return the box with an old 1 gig hard drive in it. They never bothered checking the box. He did it like 20 times.

He's a complete knucklehead and I do not think stealing is OK in any regard because all it does is screw the consumer in the long run.

NOW the hard drives come in clear plastic containers that take a heavy duty army knife to get open.

Ever seen the memory cards for cameras, ect....in those HUGE plastic sheets?

    Pisses me off.

i agree, it only hurts the honest consumer, but as prices go up is it because of theft or greed?here in canada insurance rates skyrocketed for no reason i can think of but maybe greed.(had to recoupe their loses, cough ****) ins. companies had record profits this year somewhere in the billions, sure their is nothing wrong with making money but when is it enough?and the price of gas, whew!time to develope mr.fusion:D

    Yup..pain in the rear......

I run a small razor knife around three sides cutting through the inner white seal and my life is much easier!

I've recently found that the way to get these things off without tearing up the packaging is to open the case with them all still attatched. Once open you pull it off starting where they broke apart. They used to send me into a rage...
