what type of subs should i get

i want a system for my explorer and i dotn know wut to get im llokin to spend around 1000$$ not including head unit wut type of subs should i get amp and component speakers...any ideas help me out please

    They need like 1000 watts...so make note of that. The Car Audio section can point you to a site that offers enclosures on the cheap.
