Whose Life Is It, Anyway?

Has anybody seen this film, released in the early 80's? I saw it at the theater and still think it is one of the most thought-provoking films I've ever seen, and also has some hilarious moments. Richard Dreyfuss is exceptional. Wondering why this has never hit the DVD medium yet. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend renting the VHS.
