    Cool deal...

    I may incorporate flat black or high gloss black 'feet' or side panels...

    With the rest covered in grill cloth...

    Not sure...will mess with it as I build it...

    Don't think I will be putting anything over the Pioneer woofer though...gonna just be out in the open for everyone to see :cool:

    Just finish the cab plain jain black, or even leave it raw. I think the bottom (labyrinth opening) and driver should NOt be covered.

    But - it's your project broham.

    Hey Russ,
    I said I didnt plan on covering the driver, probally won't cover the opening either...

    Probally will just get it built...then get the driver...etc

    See how it sounds, if it sounds good... I'll worry about finishing it...

    Basically, it will look how the picture above looks...(just not as plain), black - driver and hole visibile...

    What type of dampening material are you talking about using here? Foam pads? polyfill? Eggcrate?

    I'm going to send you pre-cut Dacron, Terminals, and hookup wire.

    Just get the damn drivers ordered already, and find a couple sheets of plywood. You never know, with an original design, we may be able to get your name 'out there' in the DIY community (if it actually sounds ok).

    Thanks - that sounds awesome!

    I don't want to order the woofers until I have the cabinets built and ready to roll... Once that is done, I will order the woofers, so in case something dosnt sound right or isn't good - I can just send the woofers back with the trial ya know?

    Not to mention I still owe Paul money...I have a couple of things to do before I get to the woofers...

    I have 2 weeks to figure out what to do with the shop project, how much wood will cost - how much can be free, etc... After that I need to see what I can do about Money...

    Will keep you posted...

    SUCKS not having a job anymore...BLEH

    Worst comes to worst, I can always take my old Entertainment center I had and cut it up!!! But I don't really want to do that, that really is last resort! That is a Sid Da Kid Original Design too :cool:
