What would be a good component video cable? I'm looking for something in the $100 to $200 range. Hopefully something really good for the dollar. You know, best bang for the buck type thing.

Signal Cable. Color saturation and display is excellent.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I would go with a referral first but there is:

    Kimber
    Cobalt
    MIT
    Nordost
    Fatwire
    Bluetruth
    cables to go
    usedcable.com

I have never tried any of them but they are out there.

I was thinking about MIT AVT2 or AVT1. $100 to $160 for 1 meter. (after posting the question). I thought of Signal cable too. What I noticed was when I went from the $20 cables they gave me to 3 of the audioquest coral cables (which were not meant for video) everything looked much better. I'm thinking good quality cables made for video would be a worthwhile investment. I'll leave the question open for a while longer. MIT might be my answer just because I have been so impressed with their audio cables but nothing is written in stone. I HATE buying Monster stuff just on principle. Good list there pp. I'll look at kimber as well.

There has got to be a video guru out there who swears by something... :D

    Here's what you want,

    AVt 1 Component Video Interconnect

True 75-Ohm Silver plated RCA with Teflon®—For lowest resistance & proper impedance match.
Silver plated solid-core center conductor—Minimizes signal loss—delivers better detail.
Precise 75-Ohm coaxial construction—Delivers the cleanest, sharpest picture.
Triple shielded—For highest possible noise rejection.
Gas-injected P.E. insulation—Improves velocity of propagation for enhanced detail.

    Give Joe a call.

yea, after looking at them I believe you are correct. I looked on audiogon, joe doesn't have any for sale. I probably won't get them for a little while anyway.
