what tweeter is this? and what are monitor 4's worth with this tweeter in it? Not the sl1500, looks like a sl1000 to me..

    Don't look like 4s to me. The earlier models I've seen have a squarish tweet; the S2s have the rectangular ones with the "shield" over the the dome.

    That's the Peerless tweeter used in early Mon production.

    First heard it in RussMan's Mon 7A's... Love at first hear... It's what's in my 10A's.

    Russ told the story of Polk folk using a soldering iron to make the little indentation in the center of the dome... a production line tweak.

    Pretty nice looking 4's you have there...
