I bought the 2-disc version of Underworld, and am wondering how the DTS/Video quality will be in the Superbit version, even though it has no extras.

Hey Doc, I bet you'll consider buying this one as well? This movie is killer in DD.

I skipped the extended edition....how is it?

I think the upgraded video and DTS track will make the Superbit version a must have if you are a fan of this genre.

There's something about Underworld....it's not perfect, but it has a lot of charisma and a very high rewatchability factor.

What a great movie, one of my favourites but I do have the Special Edition of it, so I'll not going to buy this one.

Not sure I would say the extra 12 min. on the EE is a "must-have", although I think it did add to the overall plot, and it appears that the SB version will not be the EE.

Agreed - I think it's the most "atmospheric" flick in my collection and am looking forward to the sequel.

Are they for sure doing a sequel to Underworld? Interesting...

Plus, a few years ago, I did a side by side demo with a regular version vs a SuperBit of the same flick (It was of The 5th Element) and I honestly thought the picture looked distorted on the SB and overexaggerated the colors. I was not impressed. Not sure about the audio though...
