...And my Bronco's lost! What a **** game by both teams. 7-6!?! What the hell kinda football score is that? Looks more like a damn baseball score. Quentin Griffin coughs up the ball after a miserable hand-off from Plummer to lose the game with 31 seconds remaining!

And everything went down hill from there! I did lousy on the Club Polk football pool. Damn teams couldn't cover the spread or just weren't in the game from the start. Not a good Sunday!

Good News though...We'll try again next week!!

How did your team do this week folks?

Slightly off-topic, but my Son's team stomped their opponent yesterday 43-6! The Game was a blast and my boy kicked butt!! Constant pressure on the QB, numerous assists, and 4 beautifull tackles all by himself in the 4th qtr alone. They are now 2-0!!

I've done pretty well this week in the pool. Moved from 8th into 3rd but it's not over yet.

The Colts looked unstoppable in the second half against Tenn.
Whats up with Favre and Garcia? They looked terrible. So did the Redskins offense, SEVEN turnovers. And they still had a chance to win against the Giants.

My team laid a huge stinky **** against the Bears.

I'll be the first to admit I'd thought they'd wipe their asses all over the field, but it was the other way around. Seems as if my concerns about GB were right on. I don't blame Favre at all, he was putting the ball where it was supposed to be and the receivers weren't catching the ball or weren't running their routes. The game was a lot close stat wise, but we weren't putting any points on the board.

Ho hum....this is always the worst loss for a Packer fan...a Bears win.

    :(

Good job to the Bears today. (I know I shouldn't be so kind...the courtesy is NEVER extended the other way....guess that's because Favre has beaten them 20 out of 25 meetings) ;)

Substitute Cowboys for Bears and that would be this week's story of my Browns... Good thing Texas Stadium is open air, or folks would have been passing out.

Is it too late to get my NFL Sunday Ticket money back? :)

Shehawks are 2-0 on the road so far. Much different than last season. Didn't get to watch the game (at work) but from what patients coming in said it wasn't much of a game. The score sure makes it sound like a snoozer. Oh well, 2-0 is 2-0.

Could be doing better in the pool. I'll get my **** together.

Somethings not quite right with the pool. I know I picked the Broncos, but that's not what showed up on my picks for this week. I also had 41 as the tie breaker score and now it shows 1.

    Frank,
Being the hard core Bronco fan that you are, I felt it was best to go in and change that for you. I was only thinking of your manhood and trying my best to help you save face for picking a dead horse. ;)

Pats kept the streak alive! 17 in a row baby!

Some thoughts on other games :

    - Last night's Miami / Cincy game was a TRAVESTY to the NFL. I've seen high school games show more talent on offense. Holy crap. By the second half the announcers had resigned themselves to just making fun of everyone on the field.

    - Jake DelHomme has ADHD, I don't care what you say. That kid is a huge freakin spaz.

    - Gotta feel bad for Quentin Griffin fumbling that ball. What could have been a couple of GREAT games to start his career in Denver to be seriously marred by something like that. Also, if you're a Denver fan, you CAN'T feel good about leaving the future of your team up to JAKE PLUMMER.

    - Despite what everyone seems to think, I don't think Indy looked anywhere near unstoppable against Tenn. Peyton Manning seems to be on everyone's list of people they have to kiss up to, but I just don't see it. I saw him make some TERRIBLE plays and every time he screams at everyone around him. Such bad sportsmanship really turns me off to him I guess. Don't get me wrong, the guy's a great QB, but he's got a lot of great people (O-Line, receivers, Edgerrin James) around him that help the image.

That's all :) Thank god for the NFL, making Sundays interesting again :D
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

No joke about Texas Stadium, at gametime I heard the temp hit 120 on the field. Nice to see the Cowboys put a mark in the W column, but it wasn't a real pretty game.

We are coming along, but I still think we are a first-round playoff team at best - IF they can even do that.

My prediction, 9 and 7 for the season if everyone stays healthy - a couple key injuries, 5 and 11.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Methinks Meshaun Johnson is going to be a cancer. That guy needs to get over himself. Really hurt the cowboys.
