I had the MM12 until it recently blewout. I had the protection plan at Circuit City, but they didn't have anymore left so I opted for (2)MM2124's in a sealed 1ft3/chamber enclosure (QLH12D100 ). I'm just hoping they hit as hard and deep as my MM12. Do you guys think its comparable or should I go with a different sub from Circuit City. They're giving me a store credit so it has to be from there.

I dunno what else you would go with from circuit city... I have 2x mm2124's and I enjoy them, and so do the people who ride w/ me.... it's not overwhelming but they make for nice sound. just don't buy bazooka... master p does not make good subs!!:D

Well, the Alpine Type R is a good sub as are the MTX Thunder6000 but I dont know if CC carries either of these anymore. The T6000 is discontinued so they may have a couple of them, if not you should look at the comparable MTX models.
Im not all about Polk subs. They seem to blow pretty easy and need a lot of tender loving care.
MTX subs are INDESTRUCTIBLE! I have a T6000 8" rated at 150 watts. I hooked up my 350 watt Crossfire amp to it and pounded the hell out of it for over a week. It never even whimpered. It didnt sound that great but never faltered. That aint to shabby at over double the rated power! Ill always recommend MTX subs!polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
