Pioneer 1014TX

Has anyone bought this receiver? People on the other boards are saying great things about this receiver.
It is basically the same as the Elite 52TX. Although, the 1014 doesn't have a RS232 port, composite video/analog out for mulitroom and a 12v trigger, 5 band Acoustic EQ for 52TX, 4 band for 1014, 52TX has an extra pre-out for eighth channel. Other than that I'm being told the 1014 is exactly the same as the 52TX internally (1014 doesn't have outer gloss finish) for around $ 650 MSRP and $499 retail (some places have it cheaper).
Both rated at 7 X 110w at .09% distortion, 20hz- 20khz @ 8ohm 1014 has a 6 Ohm switch
Warranty for 1014 is only 1 year
For under $500 this thing sounds like a steal. I would say that anyone looking for a new receiver for under $500 this might be something to really check out.
I was told that they both weigh 34lbs and the weight listed on the 1014 is a misprint.

Has anyone here heard this receiver? Please let me know....
I would like to know if it sounds like the H/Ks (warm and punchy)as I might sell my 225 to get this receiver.

Haven't heard the receiver but have found it for $374.00 in 2 places (plus shipping). Tempting but think I'm going to go with Yamaha or an older Sony ES model. Anthony
