I know there have been about 3 mentions of this DVD here in various threads and the last of them seemed to say that Miramax wasn't going to be releasing it or at the very least.....hadn't decided.

Well, I was at Wal-Mart yesterday perusing the DVD and Game isles and what do I see? In the bottom of the DVD rack I see Shaolin Soccer!!!!!! What's more is that it was only $14.00!!!

They have the original theatrical version of the movie and a new U.S. theatrical version with english overdubbing. Simply hilarious!

Go out and get this movie if you want to have some fun.

    Too bad this movie hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves.

    Though I think Shaolin Soccer will be rediscovered and generate new fans cause SONY Pictures has picked up Stephen Chows next flick Kung Fu Hustle. Should be another hilarious flick by Chow !

    Thanks for the tip! I bought this movie today and just got done watching it. Definitely a "fun" movie. Good bass in some scenes too (jurassic park cup of water). The Chinese soundtrack has the loudest bass.

    PQ is pretty good too.
