Soundcraftsmen PCR-800. Face is perfect, some small scratches on the top. More like smudges rather than scratches, not through the paint. If you have ever seen one of these you know what I mean. This is one of the better examples of this amp you will find. They sometimes go as low as $150 on ebay but those are in poor shape comparitively. This one also has the resistor mod to eliminate the stock fan shut down problem. I actually paid a lot extra to get it in this condition. All works great! 205 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Works great with 4 ohm speakers like the LSi's or Carver Amazings. It has had very little use, maybe 75 hours total. Has been sitting around here for a few years so I've decided to sell it.

$160 plus $20 shipping. Includes a copy of the schematic, great packaging and insurance.

Naw, that's in the other room... When you got space, you can do both... (Actually, I now have two 2-channel rooms and one HT)

    2-C has it's place

Oh, and now my wife needs a laptop so that has to be funded as well...

That's what I need. Unfortunately it is not the same model. Mine has vents down the front and the front is on standoffs (like in the auction). I just passed on another one about a week ago. I don't know which style front it had, but I couldn't afford it. This one is much more reasonable and looks great. I would just prefer for them to have the same front. Then again, if nobody snatches up this amp and I happen to work some more OT, I will revisit it.

I would think this would be a superb match for most any Polks. It goes well with my 10Bs and should be enough for most SDA's.
    Make it Funky! :)

Just for the record, it is my understanding that the ones with the vented front is the older model while the sold front, like mine, was the newer model. This front is on standoffs the same as the older model. It is on standoffs to allow air to enter around the sides whereas the older one with slots allowed air to enter around the sides (the same) plus through the slots as well. I guess they figure air intake without slots was adequate. Just information, not trying to talk anyone into anything. :)
