Well its been awhile since my last crabbing stories and pictures, crabbing slowed down in my spot.. so the last 2 days ive managed to get 2 dozen crabs,, i cooked and picked for hours last night, will make something tonight with the lb of lump meat i have.. anyways.... most were small to medium size.. legal is 5" and i pulled this 6 1/2" er out yesterday... bigger than the pic may make it look like.. full of meat also.. large claws and all.. so anyone into crabs or fishing.. here ya go

    he was on ice, hence not looking alive.. plus another crab bit his claw off and i placed it there for the photo shoot :D

    Nah, the longest ive kept them alive was 4-5 days :D
    In ice in a cooler, my old fridge out here kills em its so cold..
    I'm eating him and his buddies tonight LOL

    I use to/may still have a transformer like that, may be in my closet...but I got one

    Looks exactly like it...hmmm

    I would look for it but my closet is...like...full haha

    Odd looking fellow you have there.
    Cool looking blue color on his claws. Never had crab for lunch or anytime for that matter. Closest I ever had to real seafood was some huge shrimp fresh from the gulf. We had to boil and take the shell off and it really was good. Wow the different things in this world to eat.....oh, I also had a buffalo burger out west once and that too was good.
