I just got both Alan Parsons HDAD disks, "I, Robot" and "The Turn of a Friendly Card". "I, Robot is very dynamic and clear. There are lots of sounds that I've never heard even on vinyl! "The Turn of a Friendly Card" doesn't sound as dynamic, but is still very clear.
I did get both HDADs copied (the 24/96 side) with my DVD/RW burner since HDAD are DVDs with audio only. The HDADs have 24/96 on one side and 24/192 on the other. You only need a DVD player to play the 24/96 side, but a DVD-A player to play the 24/192 side.

I have had that I ROBOT for about 6 or 7 months now and I have wrote about it here at the Polk Forum many times. It is certainly a great sounding disc. There are a few more HDADs coming out soon, this type of disc by Classic Records is one of my favorite formats for recorded music.

No, all HDADs so far are stereo only. They are relatively cheap at about $19.95.

I think the DVD-A is out of print, there's one on Amazon for only $79.99.
