Ok, it seems nobody wants or can afford all 8 original SL3000 tweeters, so I'm going to split them up. The new deal is SOLD per pair plus shipping. As most of you probably know these are still listed as available on the parts listing, but Polk does not and will not have any.

    ....if I understand correctly,
    Polk is no longer making the SL3000 ?
    And they are out of stock, but still list it on the website?

    Are your tweeters new?

    Polk still makes SL3000 replacements...

    They just arnt the originals...

    The new ones are a rubberized Silk, while those are the original Tri-Lam design

    Correct, Polk no longer makes the SL3000. The tweeters are for all practical purposes, NOS. They do have a replacement available as Trey has pointed out, but it's not like the original. The reason I said they still list the SL3000 on the site is that some folks were emailing me saying, "Hey Polk still sells them." My response was, "Call them up and see for yourself, they don't sell the SL3000 anymore."

    He dug himself in pretty good but it's nothing that some nail polish remover can't fix.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Plus..... I want a full 10-year warranty, an autographed copy of The Compendium, a complimentry pint of Old Harpers, and ..... I can only pay in Nigerian drakbars.
    If these aren't available anymore after your original 2004 post, than I want ... uhm .... I want ... a back rub and foot massage !

    Please re-read the forum rules. F1 can post whatever damn price he feels. And PS...shipping is NOT free....gas doesn't grow on trees ya know.
