Is it just me or did this movie sneak up and come out of nowhere? I liked RE, so look pretty forward to the sequel......

Just odd that I haven't heard about it at all and now it's comin out on Friday.

Not at all, the first one ended with a second release to come. Paul started work on it right after the first one but was delayed with the AVP movie. That was why the AVP movie was so rushed and did not impress as it should have. He was working on both projects.
The "makeup" teaser trailer has been up for a year now......

I heard that it was not nearly as good as the first......lacking of a decent plot, etc.....

I wanna see it just to see how everything turns out anyway.....but kinda funny that the ending scene was complete emptiness and this one has a seemingly endless supply of people to convert.....who knows

Very good movie, pretty much non stop action.

However it reminded me of alot of the xxxxxxxxxx vs. xxxxxxxxxxxx movies around now...

Still very cool none the less

THere is no real plot to this movie, just straight up action...non stop action

This one is also out tomorrow. I'm thinking about picking it up. I was very suprised how good the first one was...so I think I need to complete the collection. Anyone know of a Superbit version right off the bat?

The RE2 DVD has A LOT of surround FX. I was impressed. The movie was OK, but the audio was pretty good.

Scary, lots of action, killer bass. I preferred the first one, which to me is a classic, but this one is certainly enjoyable.

I saw the 2nd one. It's has very good surround sound and bass. Based on what the members said about the first one, I have to rent it.

BUMP...i've seen this in the past (r.e.II-apocalypse)with my old htib 5.1 system. rewatched it on my new 7.1 ht system and, wowsers! all kinds of business goin' on with the surround channels. a few ultra low bass thumps are there as well that are solely there to be felt.

You guys have to be kidding me, right?

It's like they made the movie to sell video games. Rather, it's a movie of a video game.

Pretty silly, but I guess it's what sells these days.

I'm glad I waited for it to air on cable.
