What will happen if i loop a pair of fx1000 bi /di through the bottom half of a pair of rt3000p subwoofers. Kind of like the sattelites would be. will i burn up the cross over or do any damage to the receiver. i am just toying around with a few ideas. Or will i get a better quality sound than a pair of rt2000is for the rear surrounds in a 5.1 channel ht. here are the proposed system rt3000p fronts cs1000p center fx1000 rears looping through another pair of rt3000p subwoofers and a polk psw550 sub. Or a pair of rt2000i as rears same front system.denon 5800 170 watts X 7.

Hi, I ran full range through a pair of FX1000s and a pair of LSiFX when I was trying to decide what I liked better, ran them at pretty high volumes on the front left and right channels on the same amp as you mention with no trouble at all, actually they sounded suprisingly good as 'fronts' for the testing. I shouldn't imagine any problems doing as you suggest, after all, the signal you talk of would be less......
