Yamaha R-700 Natural Sound Receiver - 1981 - 50x2 (9/10) *SOLD* This unit is so MINT its sick. This was the silver R series from Yamaha. This unit performs 100% and is cosmetically perfect. I tested the unit on Polk RTA12C and SDA2A, and there were zero problems driving either pair of speakers. I also have a vintage Technics SA-500 that I did A/B testing with, and found the Yamaha to be a little brighter than the Technics. It wasn't some big scientific experiment, just an observation. This is a solid 50wpc receiver, no ratings games played when this was manufactured.

The price is higher than normal due to the condition and the fact that it has the original user's manual and all the original packaging. I recently picked up the Yamaha R-700 Service Manual from Rick @ www.stereomanuals.com and it's brand new. Included: Service Manual, Original User's Manual, Original Packaging and Original Box.

All my gear is cleaned with CAIG De-Oxit and audio connections are treated with CAIG Pro-Gold. Tested for functionality, NO DOA. Packaging is always bulletproof, and double boxed if at all possible.

This unit will be double boxed to preserve the original packaging condition.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Yamaha P-450 Turntable - Belt Drive - 1980 (8/10) *SOLD* This is a matching silver series turntable for the aformentioned receiver. The unit is 100% mechanically functional and aside from the atypical light scratches on the clear dustcover, is almost perfect. The unit has a Sonus Gold Series II - Blue Label stylus installed.

I replaced the belt because the original one was snapped and unit was inoperable. I picked up the new belt from Bob @ www.vintage-electronics.cc/ The new belt brought the unit back to normal, but I have no LP record to fully test it completely. I know the original owner, and she stored it in the original box for 15 years after graduating college. She says it works, so I say it works. If there is ANY problem after purchase and on-site testing, contact me immediately, and we will get it straight. Includes: User's Manual, Original Packaging, Original Box, Original Stylus Packaging & Extra Parts, Extra Yamaha Headshell & Headshell Leads and Yamaha Stylus Gauge.

All my gear is cleaned with CAIG De-Oxit and audio connections are treated with CAIG Pro-Gold. Tested for functionality, NO DOA. Packaging is always bulletproof, and double boxed if at all possible.

No you did not. If I pick up those speakers for you in Potomac, I'll just bring all of it to Polkfest.

Mike - Bring a couple extra bucks, something else arrived in the mail I know you will like for your new TT. I picked up a full color P-450 Sales Brochure and P-450 Service Manual from my homeboy Rick.

They are sweet, and will compliment the TT very nicely.
