Computer Is Fixed!!!

My Mom decided to go ahead and fix my computer as 3 people, 1 computer just was to hard!

So I am back on a lightning bolt, 80 gig harddrive!!
- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

    LoL, 80 gb is more than enough for me (at the moment) -- I use to have a 30 gig...so big improvement for me...

    well...my old computer has dual hard drives
    1gb each...so my new one is a tad bit better than that one:)

    16MB Vid Card
    7-8 Gig Harddrive
    P2
    128MB Ram
    Windows ME

    Nothing special at all...

    This one is...

    866MHZ
    64 MB Vid Card (Would like to get a 128 MB Vid Card)
    80 Gig Harddrive
    P3
    512 Ram (would like to get 1024)
    Windows XP Home

    a video card upgrade or ram upgrade wont do you much good if your processor is the bottleneck.

    Agreed. 512 is more than enough system memory as it stands right now. I've been running 512 for about 2 years and have had no complaints.

    Get yourself an AMD system on the cheap and you'll be pleasantly surprised. M/B, proc, and RAM should stay under $150... It'd be a big kick in the **** for your old system.

    Ha Ha,
    Our 41/2 year old slug of a Gateway is still hobbling along. If it was not for a cable hookup it would take at least an hour to log on! Dialup is slooooow for us.

    my friend ordered an alienware and the P4 was cheaper than the AMD:confused:

    Could've been that it was a standard P4 vs an Athlon64. If that was the case, then yes, the AMD would've been more expensive :-)

    Yeah mine's 80 GB too, but I need a 512 stick...hmm....I NEED MONEY.
