FS: Tascam da-88 8 track digital recorder W/ sy-88 sync. card

If any of you are into recording your own tracks you know what this machine is all about. The da 88 has about 13 hours on it and is in excellent condition, the sy 88 sync card is brand new in the box and is ready to be installed. The da 88 uses the 8mm format for the recording media and is loaded with features, it has also been upgraded to the version 4 software. Also did some research and read that disney uses this same machine in the final mix down of the tracks for their dvd movies,monsters inc., lilo and stitch to name a few. Looking to get 450 shipped for this awsome piece of gear.

In a B&W catalog I receive they have a lot of Tascam gear. I am intrigued with the Tascam 6500 DVD/CD player... Looks like Tascam makes some fine gear but I have 0 experience with it.

This thing is one hell of a piece of gear, you can daisy chain enough of them together to have 128 channels to record to and the sweet part is that the initial machine becomes the master and can control all of them at the same time. It's loaded with a ton of other cool features as well.
