I have a Yamaha CDM-900M 110 disk CD player that is not loading discs at all.
The unit turns on, scans the rack of Cd's, stops or goes to the appropriate slot and try's to "suck out" the apropriate disc. A little arm comes out from the carriage, the disc rocks forward and back, but never rolls back into the plyer/carriage.
Any sugestions, or even sugestions where else to ask before I send it to the shop would be apreciated.

Time to buy a new player. The large juke box players all had problems. -
... at least all of the ones I found at the good ol' Harvard (MA) dump did. Most of them would play a disc, sometimes requiring some encouragement (in the New Jersey waste management systems sense of the word) to do so. NONE of them would work as their manufacturers had originally intended. Probably just as well.

PS I probably collected that Pioneer (and, if memory serves, a Kenwood and... I don't remember what the other one was) about the time that this thread was started.

looks like the other one was a Sony DVD carousel.
