would RC85i's be good choice for main/rear speakers in HT?
I have some old Audiosource inwall speakers in our HT setup. I would like to replace them with something much better. Unfortunately, the large holes in the walls make the choices rather slim.
One set of speakers that will fit are the Polk RC85i's.
From what I've read, people tend to like these speakers for HT (non inwalls are not an option for me).
Are these good all-around speakers to use for my main as well as surround speakers? My room is about 22x24 with a 19 foot ceiling. I also have a Velodyne 15" sw.
Also, how much do the tweeters pivot? My rear surround speakers are about 11 feet up the wall (over a large doorway into our kitchen) and are about 5-6 feet behind the listening position, so I will need to tilt the tweeters down.
Do these speakers look like they'll work well for my application? Thanks.
Dave
