Are any of the audio/stereo rags worth the price?

No. The internet has everything you'd ever see in the magazine anyway.
The only reason I still get any magazines at all is I need something to read on the ****. I don't want to have to run to the computer & print out an article every time I have to roost.Bob Mayo, on the keyboards. Bob Mayo. -
Not really. They can be entertaining and some have decent gear shootouts and comparisons but for the most part they are heavily biased and over-priced for what they provide.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I like Home Theater Mag, it was only $10.50 for a year subscription. They have some good tech articles, and I also like when they have 'lab results' in a lot of their reviews. Of course they are guilty of sugar coating sometimes, like all the mags.

I was hoping that the audio rags would be better than the gun rags. Seems like there is no gun or amp or speaker that isn't rated "must buy."

I have always enjoyed $ensible Sound. It is a good publication, not nearly as snooty and pretentious as Stereophile or The Absolute Sound.
