Has anyone else gotten the Nine Inch Nails live dvd, ...and all that could have been.... ? The web site claims that it was released in two different forms, a Dolby Digital, and DTS because of compression issues dealing with quality. You even have to change discs 3/4 through the show on the DTS version. I don't know about the DD. I know that Super-bit is something new but this makes no reference to that technology. Anyone heard anything else about this?
I have to say....this may possibly be the best sounding live dvd I now own. It had been The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Off The Map, which came out last fall and contained both DD and DTS. I had the fortune of seeing NIN on this tour in Raleigh, N.C., and after watching the dvd my ears were left with that all-to-familiar ringing. I need to put a meter to it.....it is incredible.
