My local HHGregg has the Csi3 for 99.00 and the Csi5 for 199.00. This is their regular price as it has been this way the last 2 weeks. I haven't seen either of these priced this low anywhere else. I also know one of the salesmen who would give me at least another 10% off. He just sold me my Rti8's for 175.00 a piece. Help me out guys, I am just getting into this home audio thing and want to get good quality equipment. I currently have an onkyo 502, the rti8's but my center, rears and sub are from an earlier kenwoold htib. they also have a new polk 10" sub in stock for 199.00 (psw10 I think) and rti6's for 125.00 each.
My 30th bday is next week and I need some good ideas for my wife to get me. She gets tired of watching me salivate every time we go buy home audio equipment. I value the forums opinion, and all input is appreciated. Thanks, Aaron

Those prices look good to me I would question them if I were looking to buy.

The 5 looks like a winner, it will mate well with the 8's.

Get that 5 ASAP before they're gone!!!

The 6's ain't exactly a steal, but if they can knock 10% off of them, I say go for it.

Hold out for a better sub.

I'd go with the CSi5 as well. I'd also try to get HHgregg to come down a little further. I bought a new in box CSi5 for $100 about 4 weeks ago, it was originally marked down to $150. Ask them if they have any FXi3 for your surrounds. Have the sales guy search the computer and other stores. As for the sub, I have heard this sub yet. Many people feel that Polk Subs are inferior to subs by SVS and HSU for the same price. If you can save some more on the CSi5 maybe redirect those funds into a nicer sub.

Exceptional. My Csi-5 just cost me $200 and the Csi-5 is $399.

Are they an authorized dealer? You may run into warranty issues if they are not.

HHgregg is indeed an authorized dealer. I bought this during "Tent Sale" they were having. It was basically and end of the model year close out sale with bunches of floor models and scratch and dent. In the middle of the store were two tables stacked with misc. stuff including 2 CSi5s, one open one not. I asked the sales guy if the price was correct. He then offered to sell it to me for $100 without me asking. Needless to say I jumped on it. It may be worth noting that I was in the store with my father-in-law who just bought a wide-screen HDTV. That may have had something to do with it. I went back a week later and had him talked down to $150/ea for RTi8 in cherry, floor models. But I decided to pass.
