sanity check my configs

Just wanted a sanity check on my configuration settings.

H/K AVR 430
L/R: RTi8 (small, X-over set to 60Hz)
Center: CSi3 (small, x-over set to 80)
Surrounds: RTi4 (small, x-over set to 80)
Sub: HSU VTF-2, set to base extension (LFE, x-over set to "same as surrounds")

Use: 80% DVD, HDTV, SDTV; 20% Music

Are my above settings reasonable, or should I also set the RTi8 to x-over at 80Hz to keep them same as center and surrounds?

Alternatively, based on the specs, I suppose I could go 20Hz lower also on all channels.

thanks.

Nice setup. Gotta love that Hsu, don't ya?
    I'd set the x-over at 80 for the 8's.

Have you calibrated your system yet using a DVD test disk (i.e., Avia) and SPL meter?
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Thanks. I realize I have a modest configuration, but it works well is my modest 13x18 media room.

Guess, there's not much benefit it lowering the xover for the 8's to 60Hz (it's -3db limit doesn't kick in until about 40Hz; that's why I was asking)?

The Avia disk is supposedly "in the mail", and I've got my sound meter prepared once it arrives.
