Just found out that the Goodguys stores are having a pre-holiday sale (40% OFF) .
One of the items is a Yamaha RXV-2400 for $600 ! (factory new/ and authorized dealer) .
Anyone looking to buy a 2400 should call your local Goodguys and see if any are instock and available . The flyer for this sale was in or around the San Diego , CA area .
My brother just grabbed a one for $600 from one of the two Escondido , CA stores . (there was another available , but not sure of the exact store location).
Great deal from an authorized dealer on a $1k unit , grab one while you can .

Seems too the Goodguys ad says that you receive an (instant) $50 giftcard with the purchase of a AV receiver .
My brother DID received his (instant) giftcard with his RXV-2400 and purchased a (onsale for $250) Yamaha RXV-640 for his daughter for a mear $200 end price .
All-in-all not too bad .
