Hello again!

I have pictures (some are blurry, must excuse me - I tried my best!) The 'final' pictures will be taken with a real camera!

Anyway, I do have pictures. Due to the poor quality of this camera you can not tell the before and after shot of the stands, one with the grill cloth, one without - they look basically the same. So I will not flood this thread with pics of before and after. If you wish to see before and I after I can send you them via. email.

Now - For the first picture...HMM

What a picture to open it! The B&K introducing it! :D

    Left Definitive --

Now, riddle me this. If you relate the Definitive to the door frame beside it, you will notice the BP10B is tappered. Well not tappered, but the top of the speaker is curved back...

    Anyone know why?

Here is the right surround, this was before I attached the grill cloth - maybe you can tell the difference if you have an amazingly bright monitor or a program, I dunno - but here it is!

It has been a long and tiring process, but I finally have it all back together.

Now all I gotta do is fix my computer, fix my definitives, then get a new CD Player (much later on)

Lots of new gear there. Are all those Def Techs bipole, and if so, should the surrounds be firing at the wall? I would think they would sound better with some breathing room no?

The definitives are bipole, and they do sound better with breathing room.

They do the job they need to though pretty well

So until I move out (whenever that may be) they will suffice....

If anything, they pack a TON of bass right up against the wall with than transmission line port firing directly against the wall... Tons of fun during movies and games....

I didnt want to bring them to far out from the wall as for the original design, they were going to have no studs behind them (which they do, not sure how or why, but they do) -- so keeping them closer to the wall would help it...

If I could design it over again the shelf would be about 3 inches deeper, since definitive recomends 4-24" from the back wall, right now they are about 1.5" -- which is also where I have my mains, about 2" from the back wall...

I messed with placement on the mains for about 2 months (the bp6B) and I liked them closer to the wall and seperated vs. closer and farther out -- in my small room....the two tweeters were bright...

To all that signed the guestbook -

The guestbook had 3 comment blocks as u saw when u went to sign it, but they were all named the same and were canceling each other, so the comments never showed up. I fixed that and now u can comment and it will show up. However if you type to much in one comment box it will not show up all the way, that is why there is multiple comment boxes...

Nice job hiding the SVS, didn't see it there for a second. Is this at your Mom's or Dad's house?
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
