Saw Snoop Dogg, Korn and Linkin Park at Verizon amphitheater, 4th row.

Snoop Dogg played all his hits. Got to watch his uncle Junebugg dance around on stage. Reminded me of going on Spring Break in '93, "..nothing but a g-thang baby."

Korn. I didn't expect much from them but was pleasantly suprised. I really dug their bass heavy riffs. It also seemed as if the bass drum on their drum set was somehow manipulated to make extra low bass, it felt like it was breathing for me. They did a cover of Cameo's WORD, but what really got the crowd going was when they covered Pink Floyd's Brick in the Wall. Any Korn fans know what their best 'bass songs' are?

Linkin Park. Played at even louder volumes. Sometimes I like Linkin Park, sometimes I don't, but I did like when they did their song that they made with X-men called 'It's Goin Down'.

Ears are still ringing a little.

Regards,

I'd love to go see LP again, but I'm broke, so I won't. ;)

I went to it here in Charlotte at Verizon. Linkin Park was probally the worst band I have seen in a while, Chester sounded like a freakin lab rat! Very squeaky...

    Korn was awesome ---

Didnt see any of the other bands though...

Korn's best bass song is Dead Bodies Everywhere and Children of the Korn - they are on the follow the leader CD
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Thanks, I'll have to pick that one up.
