Purchased a pair of these for bedroom speakers! Driving them with a Sansui AU-G99X (160 watt/ch) integrated! Mounted the speakers about 7 feet up on the walls 16 feet apart and corner mounted (wife acceptance factor seems to be okay as well).

These are my first pair of Polk speakers and I have to say right out of the box these sound wonderful.

In a month they will be totally different speakers.

If you think they sound good NOW, just wait till they break in!

    They are AWESOME lil speakers.

Yes I have thanks! I have original manuals, boxes, etc as well. I am still so pleased at how well the amp (and I also have the matching tuner the TU-D99X as well) mate.

    Impressive forum here!

I've got my Atrium 55s mounted by patio horizontally. I cannot get the speakers to remain in the position I want. They keep flopping forward - I can only hand-tighten these so much. I've torqued them by hand as much as I can & it still doesn't seem tight enough. Anyone else have this prob? If so, got any tips or advice? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, You can remove th metal bracket from the mounting holes on the speaker case with a pair of screws. Get yourself some felt discs at the hardware store and sandwich them in between the metal bracket and the speaker and screw the bracket on again. This should provide enough friction to keep the speaker where you place it without damaging the speaker or bracket.

Or you could call Polk customer service.
