I looked them up online, and in the manual... i just don't get the values and whats what.. I can solder them in anyways.. I just need to know what and where to get like the orange drop coupleing caps for the driver board, and what value to get.. I don't understand, MFD, UF, all those numbers... i know 400volts or higher, seen a bunch on e-bay but what can you use? also any other caps that are easily replaced... Filter can cap on top// so on... Ive done the research but its all chinese if you dont know what they mean...

My bad - I must've misread.
I was glancing at the parts list - is this coupling cap listed there?
If so which one is it? Perhaps I can help with the values?? -
Hey Faster,
I replaced my coupling caps with orange drops from thetubestore.com Here are the ones I used... http://www.thetubestore.com/ca-or-047uf-600v.html and http://www.thetubestore.com/ca-or-100uf-600v.html You're going to need two of each. They have no polarity so installing them should be a breeze. I haven't upgraded any resistors yet but here's a list of stuff for the driver board. It's a pdf file and you can find it on page 8. http://www.dynaco-doctor.com/ST7-PC3R-DOC.pdf DON'T remove those 'domino' looking caps. I hear they never go bad and you can't buy them anymore. While you're at the shop, pick up four 100 ohm (1/2 watt) resistors and convert your Dyna to triode output. Output power is reduced by half but the sound is much better. Takes about 20 minutes to change it from pentode to triode.

No problem:). Take your time when working on the driver board. Don't heat things up too long because when the tracing comes off the board, they're not going back. Also, make sure you leave a tiny bit of space underneath the caps and resistors so they get some air flow. While you're at it, use a solder sucker to remove old solder joints and re-solder with fresh solder. You should do this to the 7199 tube sockets as well. Remove them and solder them back on.
