Anyone out there a fan of Ben Folds?

I just recently discovered Ben Folds for myself about 2 months ago.

I've got "The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner" & "Whatever & Ever Amen" from Ben Folds Five, and "Rockin' The Suburbs" from Ben Folds (solo).

I have been hooked on these 3 albums. I've played little else in the last month or so, and I'm not sick of any of these yet.

Anyone else a fan?

    Yeah, I've always like them.

Ben is actually a really good piano player, at least for that style of music...

Song for the Dumped is great :D , and the next track on that CD is probably my favorite of their songs...

You should check out their self-titled album as well...some good stuff on there...Philosophy and Uncle Walter are great...

I checked out amazon.com. I'll probably get the self titled album next.

So far, of the 3 albums I got, my favorite is "Fair". (#2 on Whatever & Ever Amen)

    Good stuff.

I don't know what AIM is.

If it has anything to do with MP3's, I can play those. If not, I'm clueless.

Ben Kweller is cool. I really like his music, even his old stuff with Radish! I need to pull out some of his stuff. It has been a while.

AIM is AOL Instant Messanger. You can send files through it, like MP3's.

The type of music is awesome!

I don't know for sure what genre it fits into, but Ben Folds is a singer/songwriter who plays piano. Definitely not top 40 pop ****.

Hints of jazz, 80's influences.... ".... Reinhold Messner...." has alot of stuff that reminds me of the Beatles.

Go to amazon & search out Ben Folds Five, you can then preview tracks from all the albums.

Don't forget Ben Lee. He's the third Ben on that EP. And I highly suggest the Ben Folds Live CD. It's a great set of songs and if you get it from the right place you should still be able to get it with the Bonus DVD. Oh, and be careful not to end up with the edited version.

I really like his live CD ("Ben Folds Live"). Just him playin' solo piano and rockin' out. Also includes a bonus DVD with about 8 (roughly) songs from that same tour. Really good stuff.
