Ever notice how many speakers you see on Ebay that are sitting on concrete driveways? I mean wood-to-concrete contact, and then photographed for the world to see...thats gotta lay a hurt on some veneer, even if set down very carefully.

Pictures are worth a thousand words...then again, maybe I'm just too anal.

    I hear ya man.

how tough is it to lay down a piece of cardboard or towel instead of the rough surface of cold, hard concrete?

it boggles the mind. then those same people call their speakers "mint" yeah right pal. Whatever!

It just goes to show how much they really care for their things. You won't EVER see a picture of MY stuff like that. Some people just don't care...

    Easy now. ;)

I always try to take pics of speaks IN a working rig. Check my ebay auctions and see. A lot of people do the 'driveway' thing. Granted, out-of-doors makes for good, natural light, but put em on the lawn at least.

    Cheers,

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
