I was just putting the boxes away from my MM2124s. I noticed the power ratings on the side.
They say......
300 watts peak
125 watts rms

Thats not whats advertised on this website or the site I purchased them from. It was my understanding they are supposed to handle,
800 Watts Peak
400 Watts RMS

Hmmmmmmmm

That doesnt make sense but Im sure there is an explanation.

The MM2124 is a 400 RMS sub. Hell the MM6 is half the size and can handle more than 125 RMS!

I am certain Polk isnt trying to pull anything. Either its a misprint or youve read it wrong or we're missing something.

That's really odd considering I've got a 8" sub box right here that says 200W RMS and 400W peak.

Well, as found with the thread on the C300.2, mistakes are made (quoted as 550W instead of 450W).

Keep it. It may become a collectors item in the future.

Kind of like that stamp that was printed with the airplane upside down and sold for about 10 million!!

Now thats a long shot. Ill hang on to them untill the warranty is up. If you are intrested in investing in your future and pay the shipping charge, I will gladly send them your way! Im sure the second I send them out, Ill get an e-mail from a screwed up box collecting billionaire begging me to sell him/her my prized underrated MOMO Boxes.

    Later,

That's a hell of an underratement... maybe you can boast to your friends that they are rated at 125 watts and handle 400... then you'll have the box to prove it...
