I upgraded to the 989 so this has to go, 600 plus 40 shipping, about 3-4 months old, It can be seen on Ebay as well. BTW the 1.2's and the srs's will probably go on the block pretty soon. I will post pics when i take them. I have some other polk stuff going on Ebay as well.

If you would have offered it here for a better price I probably would have bought it.
This site does not promote Ebay self promotions.

    Screename,

Regarding the 1.2's and SRS's I know I PM'ed you several times about them and asked questions in your thread that were never responded to. I suspect I wasn't the only one.

It's not about rules per se, it's about common courtesy which could of at the time consisted of nothing more than ... Thanks for the interest but they are not for sale at this time.

Are you going to offer them here first or are you going to advertise your auction?

We don't bid against each other. PERIOD. You'll find a very courteous group.

Ok, now I am a straight forward person so here goes. I realize and appreciate the "pecking order" your guys follow when someone sells things here and I respect that. I did not realize it was taboo to offer things on ebay and then come here. I will not make this mistake again.

I regards to mechandise in general, I would have offered my stuff here exclusively, but honestly better prices are secured on Ebay, granted not all of the time but most of the time.

It occurs to me that several of the members of this forum have access to polks at prices that the general public do not. That being said I am no differant than everone here I like to get a good deal too.

As far as the 1.2's and the srs's go I am on the west coast, that is part of the reason I didnt respond to almost all of the inquiries, freight costs are usually the deal breaker. I did send Luc a PM and offered to bring by the srs's for him to see as I was in the neighborhood and they happened to be in my truck. Moving day ya know, but he got back to me after the fact and said he would probably only be interested in the tl's. No prob.

Now that being said, I would offer my srs's and 1.2tl's, yes both pairs for 3K or 1500 for the srs's and 2000 for the 1.2tls. They are not perfect, they would benefit from some new fabric and maybe even a refinish; especially the srs's, but they are awesome sounding, and believe me I realize I'm preaching to the choir here. I will post pictures for serious buyers. I would prefer someone take both for the price break. The 3K is firm, it should save on the frieght or would make pickup less drama for me.

Thanks for taking the time to hear me out.
    Kind regards.

I think everyone here knows that and no one has a problem with other members selling their stuff on ebay. What people don't want is the flea market to just become a wasted space full of ebay links.

Instead I think most members here would like this to be a place where you can go to buy and sell gear to a small community that knows and trusts each other; not necessarily at the highest price, but with the satisfaction and peace of mind that you are dealing with trusted people and are helping the "Polk" community and hopefully in some other ways you will be helped out as well (future purchases, knowledge, etc etc.)

    Screename,

    Welcome to the forum!

Actually the price at eCost is $695.00, screename was asking $600.00 and I suspect took a little less. It's a fair deal and he seems to be handling himself like a stand up guy. His prices for the speakers are very fair and if anyone is interested, good shipping deals can be found if you look for them. I had some big SDA's shipped from CA to MD by ABF Freight for $240.00, so it doesn't have to be a deal breaker.
