center rears

equipment list, -onkyo 898,cs400i,rt1000i,omage 12inch sub ,1 set of fx500i, iam going to add one more set of speakers to complete my 7.1 setup,room size is 22x14 the rears are set 4 feet behind couch , i want to add a set of center rearswhat wouuld you suggest. another set of fx500i 0r will the fx300i work fine, thanks SMKNGSTV

    i would recommend the rt35i's for your center surrounds, direct firing speakers seem to be the most widely used for the 6th and 7th channels. THX suggests direct over the di-poles used for side surrounds...

    I agree with juice21, I am 6.1 and I used the cs245i for center rear. Read alot about setting a HT to THX standards and direct works very well on the rear with dipole sides. I find it seemless.:cool:
