I like the RTi10's but I would have to put them too close to the TV and Center due to my equipment shelving. I have bookshelf speakers there now (old Yamaha's that sound great). Is there a bookshelf speaker here that even comes close to the RTi10 or am I dreaming?

I think the reason I like the old Yamaha is because it has an 8" subwoofer, 4" mid woofer, and a 3/4" tweeater. There well balanced.

Wow. Thanks for the info! I think I'll go listen to them today.

I guess I should look at the bright side, the're cheaper than the RTi10's. I also have two cheaper subs in my current arrangement. I can spend the difference on a sub.

Also I think I have decided on the Yamaha RX-V2400 to drive em.
