yeah what he said.. some best price subs are the cyclinder subs, like the pci 20-39 // some best bang for your buck sub is the Pb2-isd in a box design.. But this will all depend on your budget and room size..

I have the Pb2-isd and love it.. started with the pb1-isd and it was very nice as well... Good luck

I am trying to stay around $700 bucks if I can. This is going to be a "gift to me" deal. My den is about 16'x21' give or take a few feet.

If that's your limit go with PC+ cylinder subs. Either the 25-31PC+ (most SPL, less extension) or 20-39PC+ (best of both worlds, a little loss of SPL from the 25-31, but more extension).

oops, just realized the PC+ starts at $775. But I'd still reccomend them if you're willing to spend $700 spend a little more for the better sub.

I have the PCi16-46 and love it. The smaller subs in that line will go a bit louder, but this thing trolls deeper than sin...

Are you looking more for music of HT? If HT, I'd definitely reccomend that sub, for music you may want to look at one of the smaller subs in that line. You'll get more price/performance ratio our of a cylinder sub, if you can go that route...
