5.1 to 7.1 upgrade help!

I have the RM 7300 5.1 surround package that I purchased in 1997. I would like to upgrade to 7.1 and some larger fronts. My room is 20 x 16. I was going to use the 4 original satellites for the side and rear surronds. Any recommendations? I am concerned about timbre matching. Also I think my center is a little small for the room as well.
