Ok, I'm not going to post a link or anything here, but I've seen the thing going around about how you can get a free Ipod by signing up for an offer and having five other people do it. I'm just curious, has anyone here actually done it and got the Ipod?

It's a scam, pure and simple.
Someone posted a link not long ago for LSi15's for $125, all you have to do is pay, then once 25 more people pay behind you, you get a pair.
If it sounds too good ...... yada yada yada.

It is a scam, but I know 3 people that got them. Not sure what they nail you on, but they do.

One of the relatively new members has that offer thing in their sig. I thought that this thread was to point that out.
To whomever that is (can't think of the person atm), I think that qualifies as an advertisement, which is, IMO, tacky........comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
I went through the registration process and it never once asked for money, but it did try to get me to take about 20 surveys. I used fake info.
