hello. new here. setting up system for gf house. Question about bi-amping just the front speakers. Never done it before. Here is my setup.
Denon 3803, 60" LCD, Denon 2900 DVD.
fronts: RTi12 biamping with Parasound A23 (and the denon)
rest: PSW505, CSi5 (bi-wire), Fxi5.
Monster 3600 and Z2's all around.
will obviously need tuning....is this 'ok'? any other/better suggestions?
also want to know the best way to hold up my center, since my TV is thin, and I don't have a shelve on top of the TV....(i know, build a shelve....)
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! You'll probably get some different advice, but I think I would let the A23 handle the speaks on their own. That will let the Denon give more juice to the remaining speaks.
You can always set the center below the tube and have it pointed up. Or else build a shelf.;) Some folks have used those wall mounted tv stands for their centers. Hope that helps. There are two ways to argue with women. Both of them are wrong. -

Ditto.
And I recently spec'd a shelf where the rear of the center sat on the shelf, but the front of the center sat on the TV. It looks custom because you don't really see the shelf at all from the front; it looks like it's sitting on the TV."What we do in life echoes in eternity"

thanks and thanks. Interesting about not bi-amping. I will try both.
My thoughts were that since the i12 are so big and power hungry, and since i listen to a lot of music, that maybe bi-amping the fronts would be a good idea.....
I can also grab another amp......
Just don't think that the denon or the A23 has enough juice to drive the towers alone.... -
One thing I would reccomend is using the same amp or type of amp to drive the fronts and center speaker...so that you get a consistent sound across the front.
You might consider using the A23 to power the lows on the 12s, and then grab a 3 channel amp to power the center and mids and highs on the fronts...I think Parasound makes one... -
That is some really nice equipment for a "gf house"...............
