Unimpressed? I know you're from NC, but they lost man and the Packers played a hell of a game. Their offense looks phenomenal, but the Wild Card (The Packer Defense) hasn't shown me enough to get super confident. Although they played against what was supposed to be a Marquee offense in Carolina....I'm not sold on them yet. Secondary is still a toss up.

I've been very lucky thus far. The spreads are getting a lot bigger though...so that isn't helping. Well I think a lot of the teams are LOCKS for winning...I'm not so sure if they'll cover the spreads.

    For example....

I don't know if K.C. can beat Houston by 9.5 points. They were putting up a decent fight against the Lions this past weekend....who aren't that bad of a team anymore.

I also don't know if Denver can put up 10 over the Chargers, even though I'm sure they'll win.

I'm always a dumbass and pick the Packers to win no matter who they play. Just part of being a die-hard fan I guess.

Tough week indeed. I've gone through my picks a few times and will probably make a couple of changes before the games start on Sunday.

With parity and all it's damned tough picking the straight up winners anymore let alone the spread :(

I'm confused and totally ignorant, a little help please!!

Anyone else notice that the spread on the pool changes, and some of them are a bit dramatic. Tuesday's spread listed "Off" for the Eagles v Lions, Bears v. Vikings, & Cowboys v Skins. Then today the spread was Eagles by 4.5, Vikings by 9, and the Skins by 2.

    A question for spastic...
The Broncos were favored by 10, and they beat the chargers by 10. Basically a "push," but it still shows up as a loss for me ( I picked the Broncos). To use a baseball phrase, "Tie goes to to the runner." If the points are a wash, shouldn't the tie breaker be the winning team?

I've noticed that the spread appears much later than I would like. This week I decided to wait for the spread and almost forgot to make my pics. When does the spread go up?

Spreads are typically up by Monday. The spreads that aren't posted right away show as 'OFF' and are awaiting the playing status of key players that may be questionable due to injury.

Oh hell yeah. Week 3 champ right here! In your face!

This will likely be the only week I have any right to make these comments.
