Hi, I'm looking for things to buy, rather save for and eventually buy, what what are good ampsand preamps to buy? I have MTX Monitor10s in the front a CSi5 in the Center, and R20s in back, I'm looking to upgrade to RTi12 and RTi6, what would be a good way to power all of this?

You can now get a B&K Ref 50 from legit dealers on ebay for a bit less than $1500. This is a fantastic Pre/Pro unit for that kind of price.
    Good luck, Phil

Thanks for the info, I now have direction. Now my other question is, how would I be able to take advantage of the RTi12's high power rating? Would I use two amps? one home theater and another stereo amp and then bi-amp the 'RTi12?

If your looking to save up for something, check out some of the equipment from this company. .

Some VERY good stuff, if you have the means.

The best solution to the amp question is to use 6 mono-block amps - one per channel. You can even get more carried away and bi-amp some or all of the speakers. Most of us don't have enough money to do that so there 2,3,4,5,6, and 7 (and probably more) channel amps out there of assorted power ratings and price.
    Good Luck, Phil
